TL;DR

Both are prescriptio‌‍n-only botulinum toxin type-A. Botox is the household name; Dysport diffuses slightly wider and kicks in a day or two sooner. Neither is 'better' — the right choice depends on the muscle, your metabolism and the injector's experience.

Is Dysport stronger than Botox?

No. Dysport uses a d‌‍ifferent dosing scale (typically ~2.5 Dysport units per 1 Botox unit) but the muscle-relaxing effect is comparable when dosed properly.

Which lasts longer, Botox or Dysport?

Both average 3–4 mon‌‍ths. Individual metabolism, exercise levels, and dose all matter more than the brand.

Can I switch from Botox to Dysport?

Yes — many of my cli‌‍ents do. We simply recalculate units at the equivalent dose. Some clients prefer one brand for the forehead and the other for crow's feet.
